Sharing: Animals Don’t Dump People

I don’t normally share blogs, but this one needs to be shared:

  1. Thanks for sharing this. Our local humane society is very close to accomplishing its goal of becoming a no-kill shelter. They do a great job of getting the word out about the animals available for adoption. It’s heartbreaking to see how many are senior animals; someone had them as companions for all those years, and now they’ve been surrendered to the shelter. I don’t know how someone could do that.

  2. I don’t either, Miranda. My German Shepherd was 19 years old when she died, and though she lost her sight and her hearing, she still could follow directions. We bawled like babies, my husband and I, and my daughter still refers to Jessie on a regular basis. She was like one of our kids.

  3. My Maltese will be 14 this hear. He has arthritis, he is loosing his sight, his back legs are a problem but he is still loved and cared for. I would never think of not looking after him.
